HOTEL AND SPA PROJECTS

Located in one of Alicante’s leading tourist destinations, the Hotel Port Alicante City & Beach has completely renovated its outdoor areas using the Stromboli Light collection from Cerámica Mayor, a solution in porcelain stoneware for swimming pools and outdoor spaces designed to combine aesthetics, safety and durability. The project embraces a bright and contemporary design, where the visual continuity between terraces, walkways and water areas enhances the guest experience.

For the execution of the project, 60×120 cm tiles in Stromboli Light were used throughout the complex, manufactured in C3 anti-slip porcelain stoneware, providing an anti-slip paving solution ideal for high-traffic hospitality environments. This material ensures outstanding performance against moisture, wear and the demanding conditions of outdoor spaces.

The pool area has been completed with a comprehensive selection of pool tiles and special pieces from Cerámica Mayor, incorporating the RJ67 drainage grates, the Bora pool coping system, the Canarias support and the 33×120 cm straight ceramic step. In addition to improving safety and accessibility, these elements form part of an efficient pool drainage system, ensuring optimal water evacuation and seamless visual integration throughout the entire perimeter of the pool.

The result is a hotel project where porcelain stoneware for swimming pools, pool tiles, drainage grates and the technical solutions from Mayor work together to create elegant, functional spaces designed to maintain their performance over time, while delivering a cohesive architectural identity across all outdoor areas of the complex.
