Cupira
Cupira is the porcelain stoneware collection with which Mayor recreates natural slate from North America, featuring a wide range of shades that makes each piece unique. Each slab is carefully selected to achieve a balanced combination of contrasts, giving the collection the distinctive personality and visual impact of this material.
This natural slate effect is available in three distinctly different shades: Multi, which highlights the stone’s most original and wild character; and Marengo and Hueso, which offer a more subdued interpretation without losing the same natural essence. This diversity makes Cupira a ceramic for modern swimming pools with a variety of applications: from a warm Mediterranean swimming pool to rustic swimming pool settings or modernist-inspired environments.
For swimming pool projects requiring a complete solution, Cupira can be combined with the other special pieces in the Mayor catalogue: ceramic steps, pool edges, drainage grates and trims, providing a complete solution for both the main surface and technical finishing details while maintaining the same ceramic aesthetic throughout.

Cerámica Mayor recommends using a C2 TE S2 flexible cement-based adhesive and a CG2 WA flexible grout for the joints. Expansion joints should be filled with an elastic, acid-resistant sealant.
