Located in Funchal, on the island of Madeira (Portugal), The Views Baia Hotel is an exclusive hotel project where contemporary architecture, the Atlantic landscape and thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces transform the swimming pool into the true centre of the guest experience. This outstanding hospitality project has been created to offer comfort, elegance and functionality, incorporating the solutions developed by Cerámica Mayor to meet the demands of modern hotel architecture.

The swimming pool and outdoor areas have been clad with the Stromboli Light collection by Cerámica Mayor, a premium porcelain stoneware for swimming pools that provides a bright aesthetic inspired by natural stone and seamless visual continuity between the pool, terraces and relaxation areas. The pool tiles, manufactured using high-performance materials, offer outstanding resistance to intensive use, chlorine, UV rays and demanding weather conditions while maintaining their appearance over time.

The porcelain pool coping incorporates Creta pool copings together with RJ25 ceramic drainage grates, integrated into a technical solution that ensures efficient drainage without compromising the overall aesthetics. The entire project is completed with a C3 anti-slip porcelain finish, providing maximum safety around the pool deck and circulation areas, even under the intensive use required in the hospitality sector.

This project demonstrates how the solutions developed by Mayor make it possible to deliver some of the finest pool projects for hotels and resorts, combining innovation, design, safety and durability.
