Terraces and private pools
Bali zatu
This private project brings to life an exotically inspired pool where the Bali collection recreates the look of Balinese stone and Sukabumi stone—materials traditionally associated with tropical-style pools. The result is a space that evokes the natural stone of Bali, with an organic character and a strong connection to its surroundings.
The ceramic cladding, in a 30×60 cm format, creates the visual effect of Balinese pool stone, achieving a turquoise–emerald water color that adds depth and a distinctive sense of calm typical of this type of project. This format allows for a more natural reading of the material, enhancing visual continuity and balanced integration throughout the pool design.
A solution designed for those seeking the appearance of natural stone, while benefiting from the technical advantages of porcelain stoneware: durability, color stability, and low maintenance, even under continuous use and outdoor exposure.
The project was developed through the collaboration of Grupo Welltech, responsible for the pool’s execution and technical development, together with Exitprojectes Arquitectes and TailorBau Studio, in charge of the architectural concept and design definition. This joint effort made it possible to integrate the pool seamlessly into the overall project, carefully balancing aesthetics with technical performance.
An example of how the Bali stone effect, reinterpreted through porcelain stoneware, makes it possible to create contemporary pools with a natural soul and a high level of technical excellence.
